In this session we will complete a case study to model the method of teaching science taught at the National Center for Case Study Teaching in Science. This method promotes the use of active learning techniques in analyzing real life problems, and as such is a natural fit for the science classroom. I will also introduce you to a large database of pre-made case studies that you can use in your own classes, and will share some tips from my own experience in working with this method.
