Feedback form is now closed.
Design Thinking for Innovation (DTfI) is a locally developed high school course, approved by Alberta Education for the 2017-2021 school years. The first of its kind in the province, this process-driven course encourages students to engage in the development of real-world, increasingly complex, interdisciplinary, innovation projects. Keith Christensen, the author of the course, will provide an overview, explain the outcomes, discuss possible delivery models, share assessment ideas, and show inspiring project examples. Since its inception, the course has grown in popularity and has been accessed by many school boards from across Alberta. The process for accessing and offering the course by new school divisions will also be shared. Time will be available for discussion and questions.
