All language teachers have a hunch that using consistently the target language with their students, particularly in the Language Arts programs, is the right way to proceed, and yet we often forget to do so. In this session we will see a few examples that prove this point and which will help us persevere despite the added effort this may require.

Rodolfo Fernandez has been the Special Language Advisor for Spanish language and culture at Alberta Education since September 2015. He has been a language teacher, teacher trainer, and a language advisor in Spain and the U.S.A. for several years.
