Sustainable Food Edmonton (SFE) is a non-profit charitable organization that builds community through urban agriculture. SFE connects communities and kids with their food and the planet that makes it all possible. Since 2013, SFE has been building Urban Agriculture High, a growing network of Edmonton area educators pursuing urban agriculture projects with their students. In this session, UAH coordinator, Dustin Bajer, will highlight many of the urban agriculture projects happening in classrooms across the Edmonton Capital Region, show you how to get involved with the UAH community, provide tips for implementing urban ag in your classroom, and sharing multiple local funding opportunities.
