Rather than just create a virtual design project at the Jr High or High School level, create a hands-on project that is customizable to students interests and more importantly, abilities. Learn how one teacher had students create a unique t-shirt design, create said design on a t-shirt, and provide information about how they met the objectives of the curriculum. As part of this presentation, information will include an example of how to use software which is included with the equipment, reducing time to create the projects, dealing with students who are behind, and mistakes in the process (both mine and the students!). As well, how to adapt this project to reduce the equipment costs with easily available products and equipment.
