This session will dive into the usefulness of two free resources. The first is a Physical Literacy Observational Tool (PLOT) which is an easily accessible assessment for teachers to guide their teaching throughout the year. The second, Active Play and Physical Literacy Everyday (APPLE Seeds Program), is a series of high quality physical literacy lessons that can be used to boost your class' skill set and help boost their fundamental movement skills. Participants will gain knowledge and resources for immediate implementation in their classrooms. This session will also briefly outline a study being completed within Edmonton Catholic Schools by a group of preschool teachers using these tools. Actively participating in this session is optional.
