Picture Books as Mentor Texts

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
In this session we will share our favourite read-alouds, including picture books, and how we use them to spark passion and comprehension across the curriculum. Topics covered will include mentor texts used to teach comprehension strategies, Writer’s Workshop, all core subjects, global issues and growth mindset. Join us and discover how read-alouds can help students conquer complex messages, understand their world, find their voice, become stronger writers, as well as spark their love of reading!
