Is standardized testing on Special Need students (more than 2+ years below their peers) providing you with the most accurate and beneficial information? Many standardized testing results state specific grade level outcomes, yet have ignored what strand or specific outcome. What part of numeracy are they struggling with? Do they know all their alphabet sounds? Is there some other testing that will tell you specifics of what your students is struggling with that is tailored for special needs kids?
