Taking students outside, from the schoolyard to a forest-like setting, can help with self-regulation, academic achievement, growth mindset and physical literacy. This session will address how teachers can get their students outside and learning, from mindfulness activities, physical endeavors, inquiry projects and risky play. Perfect for teachers in early learning, and elementary school, you will be provided with a variety of diverse ideas to support your outdoor programming.
