There are many lessons we can learn from standing on the shoulders of giants. In this presentation, Dr. Dobson, explores the world of fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD). She bases this talk on the work of the Winnipeg School division and how lessons learned can be adopted into the Edmonton Public School system. This work will explain the specialized FASD classroom, the need for a paradigm shift and strategies that support a positive school experience for students with FASD.
