This presentation, requested over 50 times, is about how my opinionated (and disrespectful) voice that got me expelled from high school in Calgary put me on a path that led to my induction into the Broadcasting Hall of Fame. The principal told me I would "Never find happiness in this life, unless I could find a job where someone would pay me to constantly question people in authority." He turned out to be a prophet. The tough lessons I had to learn in a small town radio station and later in the major markets, that led to multiple national awards, were things I wished had been taught in high school. I now speak in schools, from kindergarten to university, telling students things they need to know to be successful. My Book, Welcome to Radio, is in it's 5th printing has been on the Best Sellers List at Audreys. And teachers, I'll even explain why there is no apostrophe in Audreys.
