Stepping away from a formalized Character Education Program, Rebecca and Kristin share their kindness and empathy explorations with students in a Division One and Division Two setting. Discussions in this session will include examples and reflections on: kindness projects and initiatives in the school and greater communities, embedding kindness in classroom language and building a community of learners who are engaged in creating a kind, and mutually respectful classroom environment.
