Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
The session will focus on a new research project from the University of Alberta and MacEwan University that investigates the impact of Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) clubs on students in Edmonton schools. We will discuss findings regarding students’ experiences of bullying, mental health, and relationships at school and at home. We will be presenting preliminary data collected in Edmonton Public High Schools and Edmonton Catholic high schools in the fall of 2019. The session will be interactive and give teachers a chance to ask questions and share their perspectives on what aspects of the research needs more exploration. Our goal is to provide evidence-based resources to Edmonton and area schools and inform students and staff of up-to-date and relevant information regarding GSA programming.
