Mindful Breathing Practices

Mindful breathing is a universal strategy and it is recognized as one of the pathways to self-regulation. This session will begin with participants experiencing a variety of practical mindful breathing exercises to assist in their own self-regulation practices. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to take part in some light movement activities. Breathing exercises will include standing, sitting and the option to lie down. If you wish to lie down for the guided relaxation exercise please bring your own yoga mat, towel or blanket.
