**There is $5 materials fee required to attend this session** ArtVentures offers your students the opportunity to appreciate art history and the creative process of modern masters. Experience the magic for yourself and dive into the colourful world of Henri Matisse. Sample "Matisse: Drawing with Scissors," a 90 minute art exploration that guides your students through the later work of Henri Matisse. Experience ArtVentures skill- and process-focused lessons first hand and create your own original cut out inspired by the father of fauvism. This is a great investigation of the elements of art, with emphasis on colour mixing, line, shape, and composition. Project will be followed by a 30 minute Q&A / reflection.
