Educators are hungry to teach their students about bees and other pollinators. Sadly, current resources geared towards teachers are limited or nonexistent. Kids' books about bees are often superficial or inaccurate. Books about bees for adults can be lengthy, technical, and hard to absorb. Where does a teacher turn to learn? This session takes the knowledge of an experienced beekeeper and educator and transforms it into a versatile teacher-friendly guide. It will be jam-packed with accurate, classroom-friendly information AND effective, fun activities that deepen children’s knowledge of bees and their important role in the world.
