Transforming The Heart: Teaching Secondary School Religion

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

They can't reach into your world, but you can reach into theirs... Religion class can be the most influential course a student can take. A good religion course is challenging, reflective, empowering, and necessary. It acknowledges that students are people with dignity, appreciates their background, and puts them in touch with a world others often fear to tread. This session opens the door to that conversation. It shares the insight of someone with experience in the field who has had success in teaching religion and draws upon the power of seeing the transformative power on students first hand. This interactive session will give stories, insights, and ideas to anyone involved with faith-based education. Truly this session is a conversation about how we can transform the heart of our students.
