Would you like to incorporate Art into Math? So many students don't think math has any room for creativity but it is not true. Come get some new project ideas! Part 1 will look at math outcomes involving patterns, factors and geometry.

Visual Journals allow opportunities for students to reflect and document their learning in a creative format. See how Visual Journals are being used almost daily as a curriculum-based tool across all subjects in the Grade 2 classroom. Ways to incorporate Indigenous themes will also be demonstrated. There will be take-away projects. The session information is easily adapted for K-3 and can also be useful for upper elementary grades. No supplies are needed.
