The passion for teaching has always been part of my life. I received my bachelor of education in secondary education and have been teaching with Edmonton Catholic Schools for the past 12 years; a majority being in Kindergarten. I have completed the MES program through the university of Alberta and convocated in 2019. My research assignment consisted of understanding the views teachers hold on cross-curricular inquiry-based teaching and learning. I am a mother to three beautiful children who experience new things every day and are developing by naturally exploring through curiosity and trial and error. Bringing nature into the classroom and allowing children’s curiosity and interests lead discussion is one of my passions and interests. I am excited to share my teaching experiences, research assignment, and knowledge of animals and plants.
